Hello, Dear Ones.
Well, here I am again in my little breakfast room
just scooching and moving stuff around in my little tiny hutch.
You're probably tired of seeing my thrifted dishes
but
I just had to poke them on the shelves and play a bit more.
My little country maid just looked so perfect with these dishes so here she is.
I told you in my last post I had made some reversible napkins that I copied from
my friend Lynne at Lynne's Gifts from the Heart.
Here you can see both sides. Isn't this the neatest idea!
I threw down the veggie bowl and poked faux apples in it
then tossed down a Fallish pick.
then tossed down a Fallish pick.
Platter, bunny, egg cup with an apple.
This is Fallish, isn't it?
Here I've filled a little cloche with tiny apples.
Kinda apple sauceish! :)
I hope you've liked seeing my little hutch and don't mind seeing these dishes again.
I've been milking the heck out of them.
Oh, I almost forgot!
This little set of salt and peppers were given to me after my aunt Naomi passed away.
She was my Daddy's sister and just the sweetest lady you would ever want to meet.
She lived on a farm and gave me many cousins and I had my first bite of macaroni and cheese at her house and I can still remember her saying, "Shelia, just take one little bite for aunt Nay."
I held my nose, I'm sure, and took a little bite and fell in love with macaroni and cheese!

One more thing...
Just wanted you to know Mr. Precious and I are hitting the road in the morning
to go see our little grand daughter, Carter!
I'm thrilled beyond words!
We really are driving to up state New York
and are so looking forward to seeing the beautiful sights along the way.
We have been up in the attic gathering toys: Cabbage Patch dolls, My Little Ponies, stuffed animals, Barbies, and scrapbooks and photos. My daughter kept everything growing up and I've just kept all of her things. Now she's going to get them back! Even her wedding dress. :)
So I'll try to pop in and visit you when I can but probably won't be posting much
because I'm going to be playing with Carter! :)
Say a little prayer for us as we travel and
I'll see you all later with lots of grand baby snaps!
You are my bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
A Song For You
I've been so many places in my life and time
I've sung a lot of songs I've made some bad rhyme
I've acted out my love in stages
With ten thousand people watching
But we're alone now and I'm singing this song for you
I know your image of me is what I hope to be
I've treated you unkindly but darlin' can't you see
There's no one more important to me
Darlin' can't you please see through me
Cause we're alone now and I'm singing this song for you
You taught me precious secrets of the truth withholding nothing
You came out in front and I was hiding
But now I'm so much better and if my words don't come together
Listen to the melody cause my love is in there hiding
I love you in a place where there's no space or time
I love you for in my life you are a friend of mine
And when my life is over remember when we were together
We were alone and I was singing this song for you
You taught me precious secrets of the truth withholding nothing
You came out in front and I was hiding
But now I'm so much better and if my words don't come together
Listen to the melody cause my love is in there hiding
I love you in a place where there's no space or time
I love you for in my life you are a friend of mine
And when my life is over remember when we were together
We were alone and I was singing this song for you
