Hello, Dear Ones! Have you missed me?
Oh, I've missed you all so much but I have been having a marvelous time!
Babies and Broadway!
Fun Fun!!!!!
You've probably guessed, Mr. Precious and I have been to see our little granddaughter, Carter.
What joy she brings to us. Get your tiny thumb outta your mouth, Carter.
Oh, well, she's a thumb sucker when she starts to get tired.
Our daughter and her family live in upstate New York so after our visit with them
we went to The City (New York City) for a few days and then flew home.
This was one of my treats ~ to see Jersey Boys and just I loved it.
I was so very tired in this snap and my tiny eyes were all swollen.
I can't even believe I'm showing this snap to you.
I'll share more of The City with you later.
We were just thrilled to witness Carter's dedication service at their church.
It was such a wonderful service as our daughter and son in law vowed
to raise little Carter in a Christian home before God.
I was biting back tears.
Time for a family snap!
My daughter is such a wonderful mother and my heart fills with pride as I
watch her in action. She just got her hair cut off and I think it's so cute.
We wanted to get something special for little Carter's dedication
that she could remember through the years.
So we bought her a little James Avery bracelet with her name
engraved on the front and the date of her dedication service on the back.
(thank you for this idea, Poesephus) :)
Little Carter loved her bracelet.
There is a little angel on each side of the engraving ~ just so sweet.
I love you, Carter. :)
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Sarah's Song
To explain this situation we're in
Angels heard the beautiful words
That you prayed
And showed me the way - to you
And they knew you were in love
So they sent me down from heaven above
Angels cried and kissed me goodbye
I was long gone - This is my song to you
Oh, my song could never be
As sweet as the song you sing to me
Oh, my love could never be
As deep as the love you give - to me
When your fingers touch my skin
And you kiss my lips and tickle my chin
I breathe you in, oh Mama I'm where I belong
This is my song - to you
Oh, my song could never be
As sweet as the song you sing to me
Oh, my love could never be
As deep as the love you give - to me
Oh, one day I will be grown
And I know I'll havea child on my own
Remember me this way, cause some day
I'll be long gone - singing my song to you
Oh, my song could never be
As sweet as the song you sing to me
Oh, my love could never be
As deep as the love you give - to me
~sung by Sissel
