Hello, Dear Ones. Yep, that's what I said and that's what I did ~ Cheat! Cheat! I've kinda cheated on my tablescape today. You've seen this tablescape, almost, before. I've just changed a few things and hope this will qualify me and that I won't be kicked out of the tablescapeing world! :(
I ripped off the red tablecloth and added doilies to act as the place mats. I'm not cheating yet.
I've used the same cheap, um, I mean inexpensive dishes from Target ~ and you cry "Cheat! Cheat!"
Let the cheating continue as I have used the same festive, but not Christmasy napkins.
I did use different napkin rings and I sigh as I escaped the cheating game on this element. It is a pretty napkin ring, don't you think? :)
I'm still sighing for a moment.
Okay, things are looking up as I used different glasses. Some every day green ones.
Shiny and sparkly!
Oops, I've done it again! Cheat! Cheat! I just love my little Lenox tree under glass and didn't even take it off the table. No, no Nannette, I did not!
I do realize Christmas is over and it's a new year, but hey, I've been so busy, so I've cheated. I admit it! I cheated here, I cheated there and I almost cheated everywhere! Well, I will ask forgiveness and I will go on!
I'm joining The Charm of Home for Home Sweet Home Party
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Your Cheatin' Heart
Your cheatin' heart will make you weep,
You'll cry and cry, and try to sleep.
But sleep won't come, the whole night through.
Your cheatin' heart, will tell on you.
When tears come down like falling rain,
You'll toss around, and call my name.
You'll walk the floor, the way I do.
Your cheatin' heart, will tell on you.
When tears come down like falling rain,
You'll toss around, and call my name.
You'll walk the floor, the way I do.
Your cheatin' heart, will tell on you.
~ sung by Patsy Cline

I think cheating is allowed in tablescaping! In fact I think it's great to use our things again and again in different ways!! I still need to do a tablescape so you are ahead of me! hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteHi Shelia, If this is cheating I love what you did. You can do anything you want in the tablescaping world. No rules and this is just right. Smile.

I think you are forgiven since your cheating heart was in the right place, Shelia. The table looks lovely. I love the doilies used as placemats. The dainty look of the white doilies with the bold colored napkins is very pretty. I hope your conscience is clear, now. ---------- Shannon

I've been browsing on-line more than three hours lately, but I never found any attention-grabbing article like yours. It is beautiful price sufficient for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made just right content as you probably did, the internet will probably be a lot more useful than ever before.
