We've had two Heart of the Home Parties - the first one was to show our kitchens (you can click Here to see the party goers) and the second one was to show our favorite cupboard in our kitchen (you can click HERE to see the party goers).
Just wanted to add that I will be having a giveaway after the party. I'm working on it now and will have some snaps soon! The give away will only be for you that come to my party! You'll have a number by your name and that's what I'll use after the party! Cool, huh?
Now if you visit me often, you know how I love the yard birds and thought how fun it would be to show our Roosters and Chickens in our kitchen. Now sometimes they escape and go somewhere else in your home and if yours pop out of your kitchen, it's okay, you can show those to us too.
If you remember, Our Dear Barb from Bella Vista has hosted the Rooster parties in the past. I contacted her and she said she wasn't going to do any more and it would be okay if I hosted this party. Thank you, Barb! :) So, we'll be having a Heart of the Home Party - Show Us Your Roosters and Chickens. Will you come? I sure do hope so.
Now to get you to thinking about all of your Roosters and Chickens, here's a few I found online to show you.
I know some of us love the olden tablecloths and I found a couple with yard birds on them.
Cockadoodledo! I love this one! Do you have any table cloths or napkins, well, just any linens or pillows would be great to show us!
This party is not going to leave out the gals - the Chickens. Here's some little fat ones just cackling away! I think they're talking about coming to the party, don't you? :)
Chicken bowls. I think these are actually candy dishes, but I love them. I have a small gathering of chicken bowls that I'll be showing you. They're so fun and come in all colors too. I do want that red one up there!
Rooster lamps! I love Rooster lamps and I've seen so many of you do too. Get yours all dusted and shined up and replace that burned out bulb! We wanna see them all!
Rooster and Chicken dishes...I know you have these. Isn't that a pretty platter?
Here's some vintage glasses! So cute!
This handsome Rooster looks like he may have some from Marshalls!
And...his lady looks like she came from there too. We love Marshalls for feeding our Rooster and Chicken habits, don't we?
There's olden Rooster and Chicken figurenes. These probably came off someone's blog. I didn't mean to steal it, the snap came up when I Googled Roos and Chicks! :)Now you know how very talented I am and my dainty creamy fingers created this button for you to put on your blog for others to see! You know I'm teasing! :)
I hope you'll all plan on coming! There's so many parties in the Land of Blog now on every single day! So I thought we'd party on Tuesday, August 9th, right here at Note Songs.
So if you would take the little button above and place it on your blog and advertise for our party, I would appreciate it so much. So I'll see you back here to party on Tuesday, August 9th.
Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia :)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song - Our Heart of the Home Theme Song~
Shake, Rattle and Roll
Get out from that kitchen
and rattle those pots and pans,
Get out from that kitchen
and rattle those pots and pans.
Well, roll my breakfast,
'cause I'm a hungry man.
I said Shake rattle and roll,
I said Shake rattle and roll,
I said Shake rattle and roll,
I said Shake rattle and roll;
Well you never do nothin'
to save your doggone soul.
Wearin' those dresses,
your hair done up so right
Wearin' those dresses,
your hair done up so right;
You look so warm,
but your heart is cold as ice.
I said Shake rattle and roll,
I said Shake rattle and roll,
I said Shake rattle and roll,
I said Shake rattle and roll,
Well you never do nothin'
to save your doggone soul.
I'm like a one-eyed cat,
peepin' in a sea-food store,
I'm like a one-eyed cat,
peepin' in a sea-food store;
I can look at you,
till you don't love me no more.
I believe you're doin' me wrong
and now I know,
I believe you're doin' me wrong
and now I know;
The more I work,
the faster my money goes.
I said Shake rattle and roll,
I said Shake rattle and roll,
I said Shake rattle and roll,
I said Shake rattle and roll,
Well you never do nothin'
to save your doggone soul.

ReplyDeleteShelia, Thanks for the invite. I am so excited. I bought my first rooster, I thought, during our recent roadtrip. Afterward I started finding a rooster, or hen there and there around the house. I may be able to round up a small flock. Thanks for hosting. Hugs, Ginger
