Be a bunch of sweeties,
Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song ~
Stuck in the Middle With You
Well I don't know why I came here tonight,
I got the feeling that something ain't right,
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair,
And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs,
Clowns to the left of me,
Jokers to the right, here I am,
Stuck in the middle with you.
Yes I'm stuck in the middle with you,
And I'm wondering what it is I should do,
It's so hard to keep this smile from my face,
Losing control, yeah, I'm all over the place,
Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right,
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.
Well you started out with nothing,
And you're proud that you're a self made man,
And your friends, they all come crawlin,
Slap you on the back and say,
Please.... Please.....
Trying to make some sense of it all,
But I can see that it makes no sense at all,
Is it cool to go to sleep on the floor,
'Cause I don't think that I can take anymore
Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right,
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.
Well you started out with nothing,
And you're proud that you're a self made man,
And your friends, they all come crawlin,
Slap you on the back and say,
Please.... Please.....
Well I don't know why I came here tonight,
I got the feeling that something ain't right,
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair,
And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs,
Clowns to the left of me,
Jokers to the right, here I am,
Stuck in the middle with you,
Yes I'm stuck in the middle with you,
Stuck in the middle with you.

My kitchen 'cluck's and 'crows' regularly. Roosters and chickens have roosted there for ages, so I can understand YOUR passion for them, too. LOVE the big guy...and LOVE Hobby Lobby.

Jan

Shelia, this is such a cheery little 'scape...I love it and all your chickies!!!
ReplyDeleteDelightful corner, so pleasing to my eyes. With all the chickens you have you could start a small farm. The good thing about that is, you dont have to wade through snow and rain to feed them. AND they are quiet.
ReplyDeleteLovin' your cheerful yellow yard birds Sheila! A little color in winter really helps with the blahs:@)
ReplyDeleteYou sure know how to make a pretty and cheerful corner.. Lovin those roos..

Love that corner Shelia! I just bought a new rooster plate today but I still have snowmen out for a while longer.
ReplyDeleteTake care
Hugs!
Sheila, I love your corner vignette! I have been thinking since Christmas that I would like to change my kitchen and incorporate some RED! I still have my snowmen in there but next week may take them down and get the kitchen back to normal. For the past few years I have done palm trees (cause I would love to live among the palm trees!!!!!). We'll see what I come up with, LOL! XO, Pinky

Hi Shelia
ReplyDeleteIt has been busy in your rooster corner. They are cute and the perfect place to cheer you up.
I have been wondering what kind of weather you have had lately? Is it coooool or is it warm? We've had pretty cold days this week...brrr...but the snow has been holding off and thats been a good thing.
have a great evening
*hugs*
Judi
Hi Shelia, your corner is perfectly crowing. I love the rooster and S$P's. I agree with greens for the kitchen. I have them on top of my cupboards.
ReplyDeleteI love your whites too. Your hutch pure white loveliness. I just redid my hutch and it is looking pretty good. I love to create a new look too. The Christmas stuff is slowly getting put away. I am really dragging my feet because of being gone for nearly two weeks in Florida for two different occasions.
My cousin Bob is here for several days and he keeps me busy entertaining him. You may remember he comes every year in January and February. He shares his time with my sisters and a cousin. We are very close.
I hope you are keeping warm. It is still cold here and the snow is still melting at last.
Hugs, Jeanne
Sheila, you are pulling at my heart strings with these roosters. I love the momma rooster looking down at the sweet little ones!
