Hello, Dear Ones. Oh, I'm in a dilemma today! Yep, I've got a problem ~ a big big problem!
If you know me, then you know how I love my yard birds, especially my Roosters (that's with a capital "R").
Now you can see why I'm torn between two lovers can't you??
Just look at my new man!! Look at that face - that covergirl face...um, you know what I mean. Then those gorgeous tail feathers! I'm loving him all the way down to his most tiny Rooster feet! Now can you blame me?I'm joining our Dear Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday,
and
our Dear Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday.
Make sure you pop in to see these ladies and you'll get your socks knocked off with inspiration!

I'll leave you with a little Note Song~
Torn Between Two Lovers
There are times when a woman has to say what's on her mind
Even though she knows how much it's gonna hurt
Before I say another word let me tell you, I love you
Let me hold you close and say these words as gently as I can
There's been another man that I've needed and I've loved
But that doesn't mean I love you less
And he knows he can't possess me and he knows he never will
There's just this empty place inside of me that only he can fill
Torn between two lovers, feelin' like a fool
Lovin' both of you is breakin' all the rules
Torn between two lovers, feelin' like a fool
Lovin' you both is breakin' all the rules
You mustn't think you've failed me
Just because there's someone else
You were the first real love I ever had
And all the things I ever said
I swear they still are true
For no one else can have the part of me I gave to you
I couldn't really blame you if you turned and walked away
But with everything I feel inside, I'm asking you to stay
Torn between two lovers
Feelin' like a fool
Lovin' both of you is breakin' all the rules
~ sung by me and Mary Macgregor

You ARE in trouble!!! AND I too LOVE them both!!! I say if you have room..... LIVE WITH THE TWO OF THEM(be wild, this is modern times and I certainly won't turn you in), if you can ONLY have one at a time. Use the second yellow Handsome Dude for Summer Fall and after Thanksgiving let him hibernate till spring, them change them off...NO!!! I just rolled up and peeked again... "KEEP THEM BOTH"!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs to you,
Donna
You know what I always say Sheila, there's room in the barnyard for all of the animals! Enjoy them both:@)
ReplyDeleteOh Sheila! I love them both too. If you really feel the need to choose between the two, you can send the first one to me....I promise to take good care of it!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Penny
Just enjoy them both! It would be too hard to choose a favorite! I especially love the tea towel you made - that's adorable! Wishing you a happy week Shelia.
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny and cute. Surely you can love them both. I think they will get along just fine. They are both very handsome indeed. Great vignette that you placed your new Roo in.
ReplyDeleteWell, just try to keep them apart so they don't tear into one another, Shelia! Don't want to see tail feathers flying.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Your new fella is indeed very handsome! Hope there is room in the coop for both :o)
ReplyDeleteKristen
LOL I say love them both...with 2 that handsome thats all you can do! ;D
ReplyDeleteThey are both very handsome, Shelia, so I don't blame your heart at all for going pitter patter. Just keep one on the side, heh! heh!...Christine
ReplyDeleteBoth are darling! Can we have roosters in rooms other than the kitchen? You bet your barnyard you can! Try the family room!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
we all know how you feel.It may not be birds but it's always something that we can fit just one more of in our homes.I thought you were thinking of the old 60s song."I've got two lovers, and I love them both the same, now let me tell you about my first love........"I love that song
ReplyDeleteYou silly girl, I do think that yellow one is magnificent! shh, don't tell the other I wouldn't want him to be jealous.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! I like them both, but have to admit your new guy is perfect for the Autumn. Cute mosaics and post. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWell who says a woman can't have a secret lover LOL!~ Well in fantasy I mean of course. They are both cute Sheila, do like I do and change them out seasonally and move them all around. I love the tea towel too, and the tray!
ReplyDeleteWell, Shelia, Life is all about choices!!! :-) I'm sure you'll find the "right" solution to your dilemma!!!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, what a choice, keep them both. Such handsome fellas. Great post.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Why choose? I'm sure you have a big enough heart to love both :)
ReplyDeleteFun post, made me smile!
Oh Shelia, they are both beautiful. I can understand your dilemma, but I have some advise. You can send one of them to me - either one, it doesn't matter. I'll promise to love him as much as you have loved him!! Fun post. Love the title. Thanks for the smiles. laurie
ReplyDeleteCan two roosters reside peacefully in one kitchen? I hope so. Both are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove them both. You need to keep them both out!!
ReplyDeleteShelia, I certainly have plenty of roosters roaming my barnyard. I say love them both. They'll get along just fine.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking guys! ~ Sarah
I think that the two of them will get along very well because they both know that they are equal in your eyes!
ReplyDeleteShelia.. sweetie, does this mean the hutch is going to change back?? It does..right? :)
ReplyDeleteI love them both also...so whatcha goin' to do?? Hmmmmm???
You could always put the first one in the laundry room. I think he would look good there. Kathy
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they both adore you too and will be willing to keep their distance from each other lol..
ReplyDeleteyou are just the absolute cutest when it comes to a fun post..
The new yellow tone rooster is a beauty and he looks fab in your latest vignette..
hugs and happy Monday
Sonny
Good morning Shelia, We were out of town this weekend so I just scrolled down to see the posts I missed. I am a dog person too but the cats were very entertaining. I am loving the parting shot. Smile!
ReplyDeleteYou do know that two roosters in a hen house spell TROUBLE don't you? HA! They are both worthy of your love!!! The vignette is very pretty and he does match your kitchen! A keeper for that reason alone.
Congrats on your giveaway wins. I love everything. Lucky you. Congrats to the lucky winner of the table runner too. It was very much worth the money she bid.
Have a happy day.
Warm hugs, Jeanne
Treat them like children, my friend! You love them both but they have to share the spotlight - take turns being the one that gets the most attention. But be sure to reassure the other one that you love him so much and he may try to be patient for his 'day in the sun'!
ReplyDelete~Adrienne~
G'morn, Shelia ~ You just brighten every single day, Shelia. Love your 'boys' ... you always have the most beautiful settings for every single item you have ... I'll bet you find a special nesting spot for both at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
TFN ~ Hugs, Marydon
What to do??!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could put one in another room in a place of honor, and switch them back and forth, say, the first of each month?
It is a dilemma, but a wonderful one!
LOL! You are so funny sweet Shelia! They are both gorgeous. ;)
ReplyDeleteThey are both great. What a dilemma! :)
ReplyDeleteValerie
Hi Shelia,
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny! Two roosters are better then one! LOL.
They are handsome indeed..
Have a sweet day, hugs~Elizabeth
You can love them the same! Like our children....you could rotate them, OR just keep them both out, that way no one's feelings get hurt! lol
ReplyDeleteLou Cinda :)
Keep them both. Then add more. ♥O
ReplyDeleteI can solve your dilemma! Send the yellow one to me, he matches my kitchen too!! Hee-hee!
ReplyDeleteLove them both!
Katherine
Such handsome fellas! Hey, I'm having another giveaway -- since you won the last one....come on over, perhaps you're on a lucky streak!
ReplyDeleteI love your Roosters! Love the vignette! Adore the wooden acorns and the tea towel!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Dear Sheila, I was just coming over to say maybe we could make a trade between brown transferware and roosters and here I see you have a new one for me to love! LOL! You do have a problem, sweet friend. Let me know if you decide there is one you don't want. I'll see if I can find a spot in my kitchen for that poor ole Rooster....like you are going to give one up! Ha!
ReplyDeleteDonna
Gorgeous vignette Ÿ Yep, I would ♥ both those guys as well Ü
ReplyDeleteLove all of your roosters. They are so pretty. Your tray display is gorgeous. Love it all. Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteA woman can never have too many men, er, roosters in her life now can she? I say keep them both around. When you get tired of one (we always do!) you can replace his with the other........are we still talking about roosters??
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Kim
Hi Shelia *hugs*
ReplyDeleteOh you have 2 wonderful roosters...now you know who came first so you don't want to upset the first handsome one. I say they must both stay perhaps not standing next to each other in your beautiful new kitchen...but...maybe they need to take turns. Love them both!
Lovely pictures..
*hugs*..have a great day
Judi

What a sweet post!
ReplyDeleteJust don't let them see each other or who knows how things would turn out!!
Well now Shelia --- you need to make a choice, child. It's just not fair to those Rooster boys, you trying to string them both along.
ReplyDeleteNaughty girl.
I say, you send that white rooster to ME, where he will be cherished and given loads of lovin'.
Quick, before they start getting violent!
Cock fighting is illegal, you know.
:-)
Cass
Shelia, you Jezebel! LOL! No, I must be Jezebel, too, because I love them both. They each have their own fine qualities. I think it's okay to love more than one Roo.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
You know how you have little "inside jokes" between your husband your yourself? This song is one of ours.... A long time ago the instrumental version of it was on the radio and my Hubbs said "we should make this OUR song".... I laughed until I hurt.... and told him "that's Torn Between Two Lovers".... We have a good laugh every time we hear it, and sometimes I just sing it to him.
