Oh, Dear Ones! I said I was taking a break and I am, but I just have to share this with you! We've just gotten home from our Christmas Eve, Eve Service at church and our pastor played this video and it just melted my heart. It's a beautiful song but the message is so powerful. Dear Ones, I'll be in line!
Again, I wish all of you the most wonderful Christmas.
You are my sweeties,
Shelia ;)

I just retired last April--started blogging in June, and I'm hooked. Good luck to your husband in his new chapter!
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila, I came by to say thanks for your nice comment! I don't have the magazine yet but someone was nice enough to scan it for me! It was very exciting to be featured and I'm still pinching myself!!! Who knew starting a blog could lead to all of this! Thanks so much for your blog friendship and I wish you and your family a very merry Christmas and a very happy new year!!!

Oh, this Christmas especially, I'll be in line!
ReplyDeleteNo hustle and bustle this year, no waiting on lines in malls and stores, we have cut WAY BACK, and it's not just us, it's extended family and friends too. Everyone got fed up with the commercialism and we realized that we had gotten far away from the Reason for the Season and we now focus on HIM!
Beautiful post!
Merry Christmas!
All the best,
Eileen

ReplyDeleteI love it, too. I put it on my facebook page the other day, after Terri S. put it on her Christmas Lane blog. This is a father and daughter from St Louis. The song was written after the father's grandson asked the question when he and his mother were standing in line to see Santa. This video is being seen by lots of folks and this makes me very happy!

Hi Sheila. I hope you have a Merry Christmas, my friend!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

That's a line I want to be in too Shelia, thanks for sharing that sweet song. I'll look forward to you coming back to blogging, but I hope you both enjoy this new phase in your life. I put a Christmas song on my blog that is done by a Scandinavian singer with an absolutely beautiful voice. Her name is Carola. I loved it in her original language, but my daughter found it on in English, and I put that version up. Come by, or just look her up, you'll love her voice.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia
