Christmasing Again

Hello, Dear Ones! Well today I'm joining so many parties and memes! But I want you to stay with me so you'll have to look at all of my pictures first and then I'll share who I'm playing with today! My bad, I know! :)

Everybody is getting in full swing with Christmas and decorating. I'm just loving seeing your pretty homes and lights and decorations and crafts and...well, you know! It's a wonderful time in Blogland. So I'm having another home tour with some different pictures and hope you'll enjoy.


Mr. Precious added some little blanket lights around our tiny hedges. Twinkle twinkle...

Well, my dear dear fuzzy little Chloe Dawn is our greeter today and she says come on in.
Here we are in the entry and you can see our taaaaaaaaaaaaalll tree! It's getting dark outside so these lights are twinkling too!
Here's a mosaic of some of the ornaments on the tree. So many different ornies hang on this tree.
Peeking into the living room and there is my gift! My piano where I play my Note Songs for you.
Here's the other side of the room and I really can't believe I'm showing you this picture. You see my furniture fabrics so do not go together! Those winged back chairs are very olden and they need to be recovered but as you can see, I just haven't done that yet! :) Please forgive me...
Now we're in the den where we spend most of our time.


Now this is the Met Monday part of my post! Thank you Susan for being our most wonderful hostess! You see these wall units are very olden. About 30 years olden. The backs were wood just like the rest of the piece and when I would put anything on a shelf, the item just got lost in all of the darkness. So...I bought some really thin foam board, soft green colored fabric and covered the backs with it. This one actually has two sections because of the little hole in the back where a plug can go through. Sorry I forgot to get a before shot.
It was really hard to get a good shot of these. This wall unit has three sections. I just measured the openings, cut the foam board, cut fabric a tad bigger and just taped it onto the foam board with masking tape. Yep, and then just poked the boards in place. Pretty easy and I really like how it turned out. The fabric green color is very similar to the color in my sofa and now I can see my tiny little pretties.
Now shifting gears...I got a package in the mail yesterday and opened it up and look! My sweet blogging friend Marydon at Blushing Rose sent this to me! Can you believe it? This beautiful night light has Note Song fabric on it and pretty little froo froo beaded trim on it. Isn't it so lovely! I thank you so much, Marydon, for thinking of me. I don't deserve the kindness you've shown me, but I appreciate this so very much! Thank you so much, Dear One.

I thought the perfect place for my new gift would be in my 'Crystal Bar'! This is where I keep most of my crystal. Our house is olden and there are mirrors - big big mirrors in here on all three sides with glass shelves. So what better way to showcase my shiny twinkly crystal?
So I tossed a few Christmas balls in here and now it's all Christmasfied.
Look! I have a ornament wreath too! Mine is probably about five years old - way before I discovered Blogland. Guess where I first saw one of these wreaths? In a Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion magazine. Boo Hoo, I miss that mag! :( She had used vintage glass balls and a few little Christmas toys. I loved it. Then in the "good" days of HGTV I saw a tutorial on how to make an ornament wreath from the show "Room by Room". Well, I wanted to make a wreath too. But I wasn't going to go to the trouble of making one with glass ornies that would break - so I went in search of nonbreakable ornies - good old plastic. Now as you can see I didn't use all one color or even all one size. I mixed it all up and after all of these years, I still like my silly colorful wreath.

I'm not purposely getting into each of these shots...it's just impossible to hide with all of the mirrors. So I'm just waving at you! Hi, Dear Ones!! :)
Now we're on the sunporch which is right behind the den.
I love my shell wreath I made a few years ago and she was so sad not to have any Christmasness. So I tied some soft white balls onto some ribbon, attached it and now she is all Christmasy! Smile sweetie! She just loves the attention! :)
I've shown you this little tree before but thought I would make a mosaic to show you some of my painted on the inside balls!
I just loves these! I've been collected these for around ten years. I just love these! I've said that already haven't I?
Here we are in the breakfast room and my tiny little hutch is all Christmasfied today and filled with Santies!
I must show you this. I entered a giveaway from Traci at Beneath My Heart and I won! She made this darling little gingerbread family and put our tiny names on each little one! Isn't this just one of the cutest little things you've ever seen? Thank you Traci.

I'm using this same photo that I used in my last Christmas tour and guess what? This photo is beginning to be my favorite. I love seeing my little Chloe Dawn watching her mommy take this picture. Thank you all for coming to see me.
