I'm using an ecru colored table cloth along with chicken napkins I made. The napkin rings I found at Marshalls and they are a pale yellow and a pretty blue. The brownish glasses were purchased from WalMart and the silverware is a few years old and is Onieda.
Just have to have the romance candlelight gives to my table. I also wanted to make another mosaic. :) Well, I made it just for you! :)
See the little matching footed stand? Yep, just perfect with my Italian pieces and a perfect spot for a gourd. This was an alive gourd from last year and I killed it! But it was an accident, I promise! I poked it away in a cabinet and just ran across it this year and it had dried all out for me and I was thrilled, well not because I was a gourd killer, but that it still looked great! Look at those cute little stripes! I just love this stuff! Can you go to prison if anyone knows you've killed a gourd? Shh...don't say anything about this, you did not hear a word! No no Nannette! :(
I thought I would show you my Little Richard covered with more Fallness. Little Richard is an old buffet I got from a friend named...can you guess? Richard! Yep, I'm very original like that! Okay ~ you can see I have the tea pot too ~ again, Tuesday Morning and a little matching tray. I also have an olive oil bottle, but decided I wouldn't show you that since olive oil doesn't go well with hot tea! :)Well, there you have it, Dear Ones, my Fallen table. I've been missing from TT for about the last month but I'm so glad to be able to join all my Dear Dishaholics again.
Be a bunch of sweeties,Shelia ;)
I'll leave you with a little Note Song~

Absolutely gorgeous! I adore the roosters.

Oh I love your pretty table and all the lovely pieces you found that match your Italian roosters. Everything is so pretty. I really love your pretty buffet also. You always do the neatest job. Hugs, Marty
lovely mix of patterns!
Dear Shelia,
You have created a spectacular table. Very unique dishes to make a great table to dine at.
God bless ya,
d
Hi Sweet Shelia, I knew when I saw the centerpiece that it was Italian. We have fun collecting odds & ends from thrift stores that are Italian. I love all your matching pieces. I've seen the little pedestal dish at our Tuesday Morning! I love the colors, especially for Fall. Your dishes, the antiques, the napkins.....everything is just beautiful together. Please give Chloe Dawn a hug from us. I love your mosaic especially!
It's always so much fun to visit your blog! I too have rooster jugs and love them! It's so cool that you have found dishes from many places that match! Thanks for all your lovlies..so nice of you to share! :D
Shelia, your table and your dining room are beautiful. You are making me want to shop though. Let's see it's about 5:30 and church is at 6:30...TJ Maxx is across the street from my church...can I do it? Oh yeah!!
Ooh Shelia, everything looks great, but that server is to die for! And only $150! Wow! Do you know how old it is? I think you're right... any scratches on something that old just shows how loved it was.
Justiney :o )
You always set such a pretty table, but I especially love today's table setting!
The dishes are all so beautiful and you coordinated everything perfectly! And that tureen is wonderful!
And I am really coveting that antique sideboard! I love it! It is so beautiful and so unique and I wouldn't touch one mark on it! I hate pristine now, it just seems cold and odd somehow, I have been spending the last few years getting rid of all my 'new' and 'perfect' furniture and filling my home with wonderfully comfortable tattered treasures!
Oh, and would I love to get my hands on yours! It's one of the most unique pieces I've ever seen. I absolutely love it! The shape of it, the curves, the details, the drawer pulls, it's all so perfect.
Beautiful!
All the best,
Eileen
I love Roosters! Your table is so lovely! I always enjoy looking at all your pretties :)
LuLu~*xoxo
How wonderful you found all of those matching dishes to your great Rooster pitchers. My favorite thing, though, is the glass jar, vase thingy on the buffet filled with fruit and artichokes. It's all beautiful, as usual!!! Take care, Sally
Love your server, roosters, tureen ---- well just everything! Glad that you're feeling better now! (Did you give Mr. P two hugs from me?)
My lips are sealed! Your little Roosters started a big riot...a beautiful riot...loved the tablesetting and thanks for the giggles!!!
Love, love, love your Fallen table. And finding your matching pieces all over the place, well it was just meant to be. Happy Fall
Beautiful table -- love all of your "things"! Absolutely
stunning!
My dear Sheila,
I don't know where to begin, everything is done to perfection! This is the most beautiful fallen table with the most beautiful fallen china and soup tureen in the most beautiful fallen dining room with the beautiful red transferware and side table! I'm just lovin it, thanks for the joy! Cindy
i love it all! full of personality and so pretty :)
who would have thought that you would find that tureen that matched your set, wow, can you believe that...I love your roosters they are the cuttest little babies ever, loved the post and love your dining room, so pretty with that beautiful window, everything is perfect....
Well, my goodness, little one...you are so lucky to find pieces to match all over from different places. And, they are all just beautiful. I LOVE your fallen faux flowers for your centerpiece. Looks fabulous.
Love love love your little antique sideboard.
Everything looks so beautiful. I can tell that you are feeling much better.
Is your little mother doing good?
this is so lovely Shelia! and i'm in love with your chadelier..
have a great night sweet friend.xx
I really love the colors on the table and the layering! Very nice Shelia!!
I'm looking forward to flying to Seattle on Saturday so that I can get my home there ready for Thanksgiving and have some fun with table settings. I don't have anything this week as I'm busy getting ready to be gone from my sweet little condo in Southern California for a full 6 weeks!!
Blessings!!
Hi Shelia
I love Italian ceramics and have quite a few pieces myself, but I never bought a rooster pitcher...next time I go I'll make sure to pick one up.
Mambo Italiano is a fun song!
I loved seeing Mr. Precious pancakes in the post below!
Shelia, I love your Italian dinnerware... it is SO neat. You need to come visit in St. Augustine because there are shops just calling your name! I can take you to somethat have neat china that could be a good friend to this. :-)
Those roosters are ADORABLE, and I like your turreen, too, and the dragon actually looks like a dolphin to me. They are sort of sea serpent looking, but I think they are supposed to be dolphins of some sort. At least that's what I thought, but I could be wrong.
I love Little Richard and the other server. Such neat pieces.
Sending you love and hoping you feel better...
XO,
Sheila :-)
This is just delightful! Those little Rooster jugs sure created lots of inspiration, what great finds! I love that Italian pottery! I wish I had brought more home with me when we went there. I only brought small items home (didn't want to carry heavy luggage!)
Your stories are always so sweet too!
Katherine
Oh Sheila, I love your table setting. You make it so enjoyable too, just reading along as you tell the story. I love those roosters. I wish I knew how to do mosaics. They look so pretty.
Blessings,
Marcia
Hi Sweetie Shelia;;; I just love your fallen table scape... the colors are so pretty... I really have to make a trip to Tuesday Morning... Love your story,,, and don't worry you secret is safe with me about the gourd...haha have a great week.
hugs;
Alaura
Hi Sheila, this is a beautiful tablescape! I love the china and the rooster jugs your hubby bought you...so unique!
I love the dishes, centerpiece and the roosters are too cute.
Love your antique side board!
Oh your rooster jugs are just so cute, Shelia, they're like a family of 3. I love your Italina dinnerware too. I need to borrow them to have a bigger set and for a shape variation, lol! How lucky for you to find that tureen. It is really pretty. You know I used a tureen or it might be a vegetable server for a centerpiece today too. Unfortunately, the cover is broken when it arrive. BTW, I took pictures in the bathroom of Marriot's in London cause it is so pretty and I thought of you, LOL....Christine
Hi Sheila, The roosters are just adorable. Everything looks so well together. I especially love your buffet.
Hi Sheila! Everything looks fantastic... And what an awesome idea to use a soup tureen for a flower holder... Brilliant!
Have a great rest of the week...
~Really Rainey~

Shelia, The rooster jugs are the cutest and you chose some beautiful pieces to go with them. Your table is outstanding.

Dear Sheila, what a lovely tablescape!! You have found son really lovely things and knows how to display them. I enjoy your dark furniture too...I've toyed with the idea of painting mine white but now I've changed my mind :o) Thanks again for sharing this with us. God bless you.
Hugs
Tuesday Mornings - here I come! Your Italian pottery is beautiful. Lovely table.
Carol
Sheila! Love the little rooster jugs! Love your little Richard and the sideboard on the other side of the room! Especially with the plates. A super cute post all the way around!
~Liz
Sheila-I am surprised those fierce looking roosters don't scare Chloe Dawn--she must be very brave :) Of course, I love your table, but I am in love with that small server! You got a deal--now SHE needs a name too! Little Richard probably taunts her when you are away :)
What a LOVELY tablescape Shelia! Even though roosters are not my favorite - shhhhhhhh, don't tell them that - you make them very interesting!! LOL!!
~Blessings,
Jan

Your roosters are so cute and what a thrill it must be to find other pieces that match so well. I love the centerpiece and the pear on the top is such an element of surprise. This is really a wonderful tablescape.

Oh Shelia, you are a character, and a very lovable character at that! I am STILL laughing over the gourd murderess! Your tablescape is wonderful. Of course, I've always thought those rooster pitchers were so pretty, but that Italian tureen from Tues AM is gorgeous! I don't blame you for rushing to the cash register with that beauty. I love the way you've layered your plates and charger, and then the addition of the napkin rings They all look like they were made to go together. You have coordinated all of these elements so beautifully, and I love it! laurie
Good morning Sweet Shelia, If that little soup tureen wants to use its cute little blue legs to walk north, I'll be happy to send it a map! I love your fallen scape!
I miss you, I just haven't had a thing worth saying on the old blog but I've been wracking my old brain trying to come up with a post idea. Perhaps soon!
hugs, Bridge
Oh my Sheila! A spectacular tabelscape in the most loveliest of fallness! I am just getting back. I have been on a long trip. I have been clicking and clacking away...looking at all your pictures on your right sidebar...visiting your den and staircase and sunporch and diningroom and kitchen...and shoot I think I went through the whole house! Don't worry...I wiped my feet before going through each room! What a beautiful home you have! I wish I had the room you have! Mine is a little Cape Cod that someday we hope to expand on but for now it will have to do. We need updating in most all the rooms except for our livingroom! Whew...that's one down and many to go! Thanks for allowing all of us to take a "walk" through your home. There is a lot of love there.:)
Wow, very pretty! I love the jug set and I haven't shopped at Pier One in ages. I will have to check them out soon.
