Foodie Friday - Easter Eats?

Hello, Dear Ones and welcome to Foodie Friday which is hosted by our wonderful Dear Gollum at Designs by Gollum.

I know Easter is long past, but I didn't get to share my little food with you. Hope you don't mind.
We eat pretty simply around here and our Easter fare is almost always the same each year. We always have ham. This year we had a honey glazed spiral cut ham. It was so good, juicy and tender.
Have to have Mr. Precious' favorite - sweet potatoes with marshmallows melted on top. Well, the potatoes have been boiled in their jackets and then peeled and mixed with brown sugar, vanilla extract, butter and an egg. Then put in the oven covered with the little white puff balls and baked!

Then English peas! Why are these little pops of green called English? Does anyone know?
And bread! We love our bread and we had Sister Shurbert's frozen rolls. Have you had them? They're really delicious and I always melt a little butter with some parsley flakes and spread on them before they bake.
Then I wanted to show you my Bordallo egg plate with bunnies and carrots all around filled with deviled eggs. Well, not completely filled ~ I added a few strawberries for prettiness! I'm so clever, ya know! :)
Now we're looking at dessert on my old antique server. See my most perfect green candlesticks?
I know this is supposed to be about food, but you can't have food without dishes, can you? :)

Fruit, lovely, juciy friut sitting on my Arthur Court bunny tray. More strawberries, cantelope and blackberries. Blackbabies ~ that's what my children called them when they were little. Of course, they called strawberries ~ strawbabies. See? They got their cleverness from me! You know I'm kidding! :)
What can be easier than a store bought angle food cake sitting on my pretty pink cake stand!
A little whipped cream, sitting in my pink depression bowl, to top your fruit or your cake or both!
I can't help myself! This is just so sweet! Bunny holding olden Easter postcards! I just love sweet, don't you?
I know, I know, I can't help it! I have to show you a few little dessert plates I bought! Oh, and see? I'm useing some very pretty paper napkins. It's okay if they're pretty! :)
I saw these long ago before Easter and just had to have them! They were calling my tiny name! You know how it is!

And little rabbits! Aren't they the sweetest thing! I had a hard time useing these little plates though. I had to schooch all of my dessert to one side so I could look at the bunnies! :P
